As for most of you we are in lock-down so no hill walks for me, but in this time I feel that I need to do an update on what our plans are and what we are doing.
The Plan
As you know we were planning to do Kili in September 2020, but partly because of the situation the world is in we will obviously not be able to go there, so the plan is now to delay it to October 2022 mainly because of dads knee not being able to be operated on right now and September is only five months away. instead of the Lemosho route we will be taking the Northern Circuit route which goes around the northern side of the mountain (hence the name) instead of the southern side, it is also good for acclimatization. We will need more time to save up for the trek because of the price of £3000, all donations will be helpful.
